Role Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager to serve as the critical link between our London-based team and our development partners in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS product management, a good technical understanding of SaaS systems, and a proven track record of working with offshore development teams on a project basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the Synapse product road map. Help define and execute the product vision and strategy, aligning with Synapse's goals to revolutionise media collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the London team and our developers in Vietnam, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
- Technical Oversight: Leverage your technical knowledge to help guide the development process, hold your own in codebase and system infrastructure conversations, ensuring the SaaS platforms functionalities are meeting high standards.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and implement UAT scenarios for new releases, ensuring features meet business requirements and deliver optimal user experiences.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to inform product decisions and maintain Synapse's competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in SaaS product management, with a focus on bridging teams across different geographies.
- Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of SaaS architectures and system integrations.
- UAT Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create and manage comprehensive user acceptance testing processes.
- Communication Skills: The ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cultural Competence: Experience working with offshore development teams, with sensitivity to cultural and time zone differences.
